Be & D is set to be the hottest designer right now, because studs are one of the top trends for 2009.
And the shoulder bag is only $995!

What we're attracted to this March for St. Patty holiday bags are purses that bring us back to the nature side of green. Whether it's the four-sided shape reminiscent of the leafed clover in the Tory Burch; a woven natural look meets a woodsy brown by Bottega Veneta; droplets like leaves for Coccinelle; or even a near-floral like droplet shape in the McQueen to a croc-reminiscent by Nine & Co. Other standout bags is our favorite in Prada's gemmed-up (emerald?) Tessuto Pietre clutch---the perfect size for the bling, to the largest clutch we've just plain seen by Lost, and then a big budding (no pun intended, or is it?) trend of the cross-body, this time meets the one-sided-strapped wristlet; so interesting and adorable by Fendi. We personally couldn't decide what to carry. So little St. Patrick's Day, so many bags!
It's Barbie's 50th birthday today, and we're celebrating with a gallery of the designer handbags (and outfits) recently given the fab doll.

Linen Shopper $265.00 at DKNY
Large linen shopper with fishnet pockets, buckle detail
and leather trim. Dual carrying handles. Logo lined interior
with center zip compartment. Gold hardware.
Dimensions: 15" wide x 11" high x 6.5" deep. Handle drop: 8".
Not usually beyond stocking, and still not on many bags being sold, but a trend crossing over is fishnet material.
We're not sure if we'll see this in many more bags, but a purchase in this category could make a gal "fit in" with the other ladies with different accessories, yet stand out at the same time.
We like this trend, and it reminds us of that Marc Jacobs clutch with the netting-material bow. So cute.
What's cutest about this tote by DKNY? Above the fishnet pocket is a belt---kind of like garter and stocking?

Casadei Women's 6650 Basic Pump
The "Shimmy" Collection by Mulberry boasts a dog-like-tag in different shapes of neutral colors. The best is by far the quilted leather version. We've never seen such divinely patterned leather!
